When Russell Sage Studio was asked to restore two unassuming Georgian townhouses in Clerkenwell, transforming them into a 13-bedroom hotel with a cocktail bar, restaurant and games room, little did they know it would win London Hotel of the Year 2012, as well as Spirit Awards Best Cocktail Bar in the World 2013.
