Set in the market town of Bruton, Somerset and close to the Hauser & Wirth arts centre The Bull Inn, originally opened in the 17th century, now owned by Hauser & Wirth, was renovated by Russell Sage Studio. The brief was to create an authentic, traditional British pub. That translated into somewhere open and inviting, somewhere that feels entirely local and friendly. The interior was subtly restored including reclaimed working fireplaces, upgraded kitchens and newly landscaped gardens. Wallpaper from the 1970s has been exposed in places, while new prints have been added to the mix.
