In the glorious surroundings of Pall Mall in St James’, Russell Sage Studio was invited to create a first-floor extension to this already successful members club. Creating four interconnected rooms on the new lounge floor, each space can now be adapted with sliding panels, ideal for the club’s move from a dining club to a place for wine lovers. Simultaneously respecting the building’s heritage and refined atmosphere, the studio has designed richly coloured and beautifully lit usable spaces such as a library, a charming naughty corner adorned with nude paintings, as well a bar displaying exceptionally fine wine. The studio worked closely with The Crown Estate, as this is a listed building.
