Opposite Victoria Station, Greenwood is a large pub, restaurant and sports lounge with 350 covers. The brief was to create somewhere fun, fast and loud to be the best party in London. Russell Sage Studio responded by designing a dynamic space with plenty of modernity, somewhere colourful with quirky detailing such as taxidermy and neon signs. A mostly glass frontage ensures the place feel inviting and sociable. Upstairs, several semi-private areas include a bar with barber’s basins and mirrors, a colourful salon, a library lounge and a sports lounge with large screens and amusement games such as shuffleboards, pinball machines and pool tables.
